Born in 2018, the “double cask” series stands for an exciting new sequence of bottlings from the world-famous Macallan distillery.

This new series of releases takes us back to the distillery's golden era, when all bottlings were aged in ex-sherry casks, but with a twist.

The Macallan 12 Years Old Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for at least 12 years in a combination of European ex-sherry and American ex-sherry casks also ex-sherry, no ex-bourbon, aging is totally sherry.

Taste: caramel, apple, honey, nutmeg, black pepper and vanilla
