This fine liqueur mainly undergoes a continuous distillation process and is subsequently aged for five years in oak barrels from the Gascony region.

Its flavor profile is characterized by a generous fullness, an enveloping softness and an important body structure. This makes it a versatile spirit, suitable to be enjoyed by a variety of different palates.

The Samalens maison has eight stills, four of which adopt a continuous distillation method, already present before 1900, and another four use the double distillation process, installed in 1973. The attention in the selection of raw materials contributes to the creation of a high quality distillate.
