Penderyn Distillery is Wales' first distillery, located in the village of Penderyn. Founded in 2000 by the Welsh Whiskey Company, it has a unique distillation system with a copper still and a distillation column. The maturation takes place in bourbon barrels and Madeira barriques.

Golden yellow in colour, aromas of apples and citrus fruits are perceived, with hints of dried fruit and dark chocolate. In the mouth it is well balanced, sweet and harmonious, with a predominance of fruity notes. The finish offers a pleasant aftertaste of madeira and sultanas.
